Colombia started peace talks with ELN guerrilla

After signing the peace contract between government and the FARC-rebels and the beginning of the implementation of the peace process, the president Juan Manuel Santos and the ELN (Ejército de Liberacion Nacional) have started peace talks in Quito/Ecuador. The ELN is the country's largest guerrilla movement after the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). Only the release of ELN-hostage Odin Sanchez,  a former congressman, on 2nd of February cleared the path to the next round of dialogue. Yesterday (07th of February 2017) the two sides started the peace talks that include an agenda of 6 points of negotiation from disarming the guerrilla group to political participation).
